Since its premiere in London on May 14th, 2002, the spectacular show has become the most successful West End production of all times: WE WILL ROCK YOU!
Since then, the original musical of legendary Rockband QUEEN and Ben Elton has been enthusiastically received in Sydney, Las Vegas, Madrid and Moscow.
Opening in Cologne on the 12th of December 2004, the show has since then swept its German audience from their seats.
WE WILL ROCK YOU bears the signature of QUEEN-musicians Brian May and Roger Taylor. Along with their long-time manager Jim Beach, comedian/bestselling writer/director Ben Elton (The Young Ones, Beautiful Game, Mr. Bean), production designer Mark Fisher (U2, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd), QUEEN-Fan Robert de Niro and producer Michael Brenner, they produced the musical exclusively for Cologne.
Right after the German opening, WE WILL ROCK YOU hit the record with 250.000 tickets sold in the first eight weeks! The musical featuring the 21 greatest QUEEN-Number 1 hit singles pulls audiences from all over Germany, Austria, Swiss and from the Benelux countries. To end of october 2006, an audience of 1 million people has seen the show!

The story, full of irony and wit, takes us into a future where music instruments no longer exist. A band of rock rebels, the Bohemiens, fight against almighty world corporation Global Soft, lead by the intimidating Killer Queen. Their goals are freedom, individuality and the return of rock music.
